A little about myself.I am a PhD candidate at the University of California, Irvine, studying American Politics and Democracy Studies. Specifically, I research subnational institutions and civic engagement at the local level.
I am also the Managing Editor for the Political Research Quarterly, a leading academic journal which focuses on a breadth of methodological approaches, theoretical perspectives, and substantive topics across a variety of political science subfields. While at UC Irvine, I have worked as a teaching assistant for several courses, including Dilemmas of Diversity, Politics of Human Rights, and Introduction to Law. I also teach Advanced Composition, English Composition, Presentation Skills, and College Success at Campus.edu. I received my B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in American Politics from the University of California, San Diego in June 2020. While at UC San Diego, I worked as the News Editor for The UCSD Guardian. Outside of academia, I am a project manager at District One Studios. On most days, you can find me at one of the countless coffee shops in Orange County. To get in touch, feel free to send me an email: [email protected]. My CV is available here. |
